Overview

Our client designs and manufactures power supplies, keyboards, ODD, SSD, enclosures and LEDs for a variety of customers in the consumer, computer, automobile, and communications marketplace. With headquarters in Taipei, Taiwan, manufacturing throughout the world and branch offices in the United States, is looking for a creative, best-in-class professional who will thrive in a fast-paced, highly technical environment. The “Business Unit President” is hands-on and responsible for driving the company’s engagement into the automotive marketplace. This individual will focus on the existing Power Strategic Business Units sales while positioning for a deeper alignment and penetration of opportunities for other Power Strategic Business Units and other Strategic Business Groups. This person will be the face of the company. This person owns the management, objectives, accountability and execution for the commercial success of the Automotive Business Unit.

Responsibilities

  • Meets or exceeds revenue budgets.


  • Participates quarterly business reviews, internal and external.


  • Reports KPI’s attainment tracking monthly.


  • Introductions and opportunity developments for other Business Units and Groups.


  • Analyzes customers’ needs and collaborates with management on the best strategy to satisfy those opportunistic needs that neither the company nor customer participate in today.


  • Maintains strong customer intimacy and extensive comprehension that can influence hierarchy, products and business roadmaps, vendor selection process and decision-making criteria, competitive incumbent awareness and understanding.


  • Establishes strong customer support mindset with focus towards long term relations and partnership.


  • Attends relevant committees and trade show/exhibitions.


  • Invites where appropriate and needed and participates where appropriate and needed so the customer feels “One”. That is…sell “One” to the customer and obtain your collegues participation of “One”.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree and up from an accredited college or university.


  • 20+ years of Automotive experience.


  • 10+ years of General Management experience or higher.


  • Previous market, product, or business development startup within a larger organization.


Travel: 50% International; 15% Domestic
