Responsibilities
Serve as west-coast regional FAE for 1st tier & 2nd tier customers.
Engage with key AC-DC & DC-DC power supply customers as on-site FAE support to do first level failure analysis
Qualifications
BSEE; MSEE preferred; BS Computer Science or other technical degree will be considered.
5+ years power supply design (ACDC, DCDC or UPS) or power supply application engineering.
Require power supply design experiences, familiar with power factor correction (PFC) circuit, isolated D/D circuit, voltage and current control, analogy circuitry and basic digital control concept.
Require Hands-on testing, debugging capabilities. Familiar with basic lab equipment, such as AC sources, DC sources, DC load, V-meters, oscilloscopes etc.
Hands on technical experience in Hardware and firmware.
Work with Asian engineering teams for NPI programs, facilitating technical communications, on-site testing and debugging.
Mandarin-speaking is preferred, but not required.
Proactively identify customer technical issues to determine correct solution selection, quality
issues, etc.
Support to resolve field issues at customer sites, including first-level FA, FW and HW rework, etc.
Require Hands-on testing, debugging capabilities. Familiar with basic lab equipment, such as AC sources, DC sources, DC load, V-meters, oscilloscopes etc.
Experience doing simple SMD circuit rework.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Computer literate.
Excellent presentation skills.
