Overview
Our client offers the highest quality charging solutions, power management modules and backup power products in the market today. As a Field Service Technician, you will with our client’s’ internal RMA Lab, and Managers to support RMA replication, root cause, and corrective action on standard customer RMA’s. You will ensure that the customer’s requests are met in a timely manner. You will assist in an engineering capacity with Quality Control/Quality Assurance, which analyzes and reports on production reliability failures and identifies the root cause of failures to develop and recommend solutions.
Responsibilities
Service Calls
Travel and complete all assigned service calls
Document all work in Microsoft Dynamics 365 with an attached service report
Complete necessary paperwork
Assure that the ticket is closed
Metrics
Add all files and reports to Microsoft Dynamics 365 within a week of completing service call
Tickets closed
Preventive Maintenance
Travel and complete all assigned PMs
Document all work in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Complete necessary paperwork
Assist Operations and Engineering as needed
When requested, assist operations and other departments on special projects or product assembly
Program, troubleshoot, and verify equipment user interfaces post assembly
Train production personnel on programming equipment before QA/QC.
TRAVEL: 25% (domestic & international)
Qualifications
BS/MS Electrical or BS/MS Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited university
Must have a valid US Passport or the ability to obtain one, or the proper identification to for access onto.
US Military bases.
5 years’ experience working in EV Charging, Battery Backup, Critical Power, Datacenters, or other related.
Power Conversion Industry.
