This individual will be instrumental in helping advance the field of Renewable Energy by playing a most important role in the development of highly innovative technologies and product solutions while operating under a 21st century model of open Innovation.
Responsibilities
Resident expert in the area of embedded control hardware and software/firmware.
Key contributor during the conceptual stage for new R&D projects, including the prototyping phase.
Mentor and help develop the level of know-how and general competence in the R&D organization.
Qualifications
MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering – with focus on Power Electronics.
8 years combined hands-on relevant experience in the development of embedded control hardware and software/firmware in power converters/inverters (1PH 1kW-6kW).
6 years hands-one experience designing mixed signal control boards for power converters/inverters, including FPGA development – ASIC a plus.
AWS Programming in Linux VM.
RESTful APIs with authentication.
AWS Lambda functions.
DynamoDB Streams.
WebSocket programming.
User Authentication using Incognito.
Event Processing and User Notification.
Payment Processing.
Web Frontend.
