Responsibilities
Draft work in SolidWorks, primarily performing sheet metal design.
Drafting work instructions for Production.
Building full and accurate Bill of Materials with supporting documentation.
Creating assembly drawings and diagrams.
Spatial and weight analysis.
Be an active participant in Engineering documentation, including but not limited to:
Documentation needs
Review documentation
Correct redlines
Add notes
Technical callouts
Dimensioning
Create sheet metal designs and assemblies.
Create electrical drawings and perform other product design activities.
Collaborate with Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
Qualifications
BS/MS Mechanical Engineering Degree from an accredited university
10 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
Understanding of SolidWorks to navigate through the different tools in the software, especially the sheet metal tools
Experience working in an ISO 9001 facility
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
