Overview

Our client is an international manufacturer of AC/DC power supplies, and LED Drives for a wide

range of demanding industry applications including medical, lighting, telecom, and rail. Our

client is interested in a Business Development oriented candidate. As the Sales Engineer you

will work closely with the General Manager – North America.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, qualify, report, and convert CRM leads and prospective customer information into orders


  • Identify lead and program stakeholders


  • Develop and nurture stable communications with program stakeholders


  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and General Manager responses to RFQs


  • Professionally representing the company in front of customers, distributors, and manufacturer’s representatives


  • Coordinate in-person and remote customer meetings utilizing Microsoft Teams


  • Manage sales opportunities through distributors


  • Manage, funnel, close orders, and generate referrals


  • Forecast sales accurately

Qualifications

  • Electrical, Mechanical. or Industrial Engineering Degree from an accredited university


  • MBA, BA in Communications or Journalism; helpful


  • 1-2 years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment


  • Experience in Electronics, Electromechanics, Electronic Components, or Instrumentation; helpful


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a MUST
