Western Regional Sales Manager - (UPS)

AZ, CA, CO, OR, or WA

$130K - $140K + Bonus

Overview

In this position you will facilitate new customer finding and manage current accounts. You will support customers to achieve the sales target within the Western Region of the USA (NM, AZ, CA, CO, MT, OR,

NV, ND, SD, WA, WY) customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Uninterruptible Power Sales and Battery Systems sales to OEMs and Tier 1 new business pursuit activities in the Western Region of the United States.


  • Build and maintain existing customer relationships.


  • Win new customers by coordinating the commercial and technical development activities between the customer and our client.


  • Build strong relationship with customers and appointed manufacturer’s sales reps and resellers, leveraging the relationship to receive customer future product development plan and RFQ opportunities.


  • Primary interface to customer on commercial issues or urgent topics with demonstrated ability to deliver value-based proposal to C-level management.


  • Participate in annual sales planning activities, define/review the sales plan with HQ.


  • Participate annual Strategic plan preparation with sales & market data with HQ.


  • Regular reporting of sales activities to US operation Vice President of Sales.


Travel: 50% - 60% (domestic)

Qualifications

  • MBA/BA; B.S. in Electrical Engineering is a plus; but not required.


  • 5 years of combined experience in multichannel system and technical sales preferably in UPS, battery systems, voltage regulators or energy technology.


  • Minimum 3 years proven track record working with OEMs and/or Tier 1 customers.


  • Experienced with selecting and managing Manufacturer’s Representatives, working with resellers and B2B sales. Provide superior customer service.


  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
